The Global Day for Climate Justice is coming to Leeds this Saturday the 6th November, and Our Future Leeds is excited to be there to connect and grow the movement.
The event in Leeds will be one of a number of coordinated decentralised demonstrations taking place right across the UK and beyond. It is expected that some 500,000 people globally will take to the street in a united call for Climate Justice, demanding action from world leaders at the global climate talks (COP26) currently taking place in Glasgow until 12th November.
The Yorkshire and Humber COP26 Coalition will hold a demonstration in Leeds’ Millennium Square from 12-5pm. This will be an afternoon of togetherness, connection and inspiration; including speeches, stalls, music and a march around the city centre at 1pm. You can find out more about the event here.

Our Future Leeds will be at our stall in Millennium Square, and we're looking forward to seeing our network come together, to meet and speak with inspiring people from across the region, and grow the movement for climate justice - so pop down and say hello!

We'll also be on hand to talk about our work and campaigns, and how you can get involved and be part of making our vision for a zero-carbon, socially-just and nature-friendly Leeds a reality.
